The Iowa Hawkeyes did not get too far in last year’s NCAA Tournament; in fact they were turned away during the period known as the “First Four” and would certainly love, since they are now in the regular field of 64, to go at least a couple of rounds. On Friday night they will take on the Davidson Wildcats, who were almost able to cap off a sensational first season in the Atlantic 10 Conference with a league championship, but had to settle for an at-large berth instead. Basketball betting action between seventh-seeded Iowa and 10th-seeded Davidson will get underway at 7:20 PM ET at the Key Arena in Seattle. Once the game is tipped off, the wagering action will get even hotter, as Chinese Bookie customers will be able to place in-game wagers while the contest is in progress.

Iowa comes into this encounter with a record of 21-11 straight-up and 14-13 against the basketball pointspread. Last year, in a play-in game, they lost to Tennessee. But this year they like to think they have improved, and at least had a little momentum coming down the stretch, winning six of their last seven games, although they did suffer disappointment in the Big 10 tournament with a loss to Penn State.

In the NCAA Tournament Betting odds that have been posted on this game by the people at Chinese Bookie, Iowa is the slight favorite:

    Iowa Hawkeyes -2.5
    Davidson Wildcats +2.5

    Over 145.5 points -110
    Under 145.5 points -110

Iowa may have the most versatile offensive player on the court, and one of the most versatile in the country, in Aaron White, who led the team with 16 points per contest and 7.5 rebounds per game. If this game is tight toward the end, his free-throw shooting could be a major difference-maker, as he has made 81.5% of his attempts from the charity stripe. Iowa does a lot of fundamental things well; in fact, they are ranked 36th in the country in Adjusted Offensive Efficiency. There best non-conference with of the season came against North Carolina, as they emerged victorious 60-55 on the road on December 3. And when you talk about what they did during the conference schedule, a victory over Maryland and a season sweep of Ohio State was certainly nothing to sneeze at.

Davidson might not be as well known to Chinese Bookie customers, but the Wildcats have a lot of superlatives going for them. They are almost unmatched when it comes the ball movement; Davidson was third in the nation in assists, at 17.2 per game, and there assist-turnover ratio was the best in the country. When you do something like that while playing at a pace that produced an average of 80 points per game, you know you are well-coached, and they indeed have one of the most well-regarded mentors in the nation in Bob McKillop.

When you look at their lineup, they have multiple three-point shooting threats, in Tyler Kalinowski, Jack Gibbs and Jordan Barham. And even though they don’t get to the free-throw line all that much, they are very accurate when they do. Davidson is 8th nationwide in the aforementioned category of Adjusted Offensive Efficiency, and they have four starters who are averaging double figures. Chinese Bookie patrons should take note that defense might not be their long suit, as they are ranked just 181st in efficiency, but they have done enough to chalk up a 22-8 record against the pointspread. And they ended the season winning ten of their last 11 games, covering nine of them. They were also the regular season champion in their first year in the A-10.

Chinese Bookie has everything you need to get the most out of March Madness, including reduced juice wagering. They also speak your language, whatever it is, when it comes to customer service. Also keep in mind that they will accept many deposit options, including your Visa card and Bitcoin!
